Hello beer world!

So this is the perfunctory post that WordPress automatically generates for you when you create your new blog. Â Most often it just gets deleted but I figured maybe this time I would leave it up. Â I also figured that maybe I would add just a bit of background on why we are writing this blog and how we got here. Â Last christmas, unbeknownst to all of us, three beer kits were exchanged as gifts. Â I gave Eryn (my wife) one, my brother Kory gave me one, and Kory also received one. Â Kory made his first batch of beer, enjoyed it and started to plan a trip to South America. Â Eryn and I on the other hand made each of our first batches, bought ingredients for seconds, and haven’t stopped since.

Over 20 batches later and we aren’t slowing down. Â We’ve moved from Brooklyn Brew and Mr Beer kits to an all grain system, a brew box and even a three keg keggerator for serving friends. Â This blog is intended as a way for us to document and share our adventures in making and enjoying beer. Â It’s also a great way for you all to join us. Â We hope you enjoy the blog but more importantly we hope you can come join us for a pint. Â Cheers!
