Headed to GABF

Written by Justin on September 25, 2011

So it’s that time of year, time to make the pilgrimage out to Denver, Colorado for the largest beer festival in the US, the Great American Beer Festival. Last year was our first year out and we’ve been anticipating going back ever since.
On the docket this year is a beer pairing dinner at Watercourse with Denver upstart Strange Brewing, a brew tour of Denver, a trip through Boulder, possibly a trip to Fort Collins and of course the main event GABF.
Luckily for me this year will also be bookended with a backpack trip through the Rockies and an anniversary trip to Estes Park.
Needless to say I’m thrilled to be going again. If you are headed out or have any suggestions for us while we are out there please let me know. I’ll be blogging from Denver once I get out of the woods Thursday. Here’s to a great GABF!

No, my homebrew club actually did a sensory tasting a couple months ago which was excellent. I would highly recommend anyone interested in beer making go to one.
